Ah, livejournal. Where I come to cry, rant, gleeeee and rhyme off amusing anecdotes from work.

This journal is semi-friends only, in that my fic, vids and graphics are public and everything else is locked. I will also leave most of my meta posts and episode reviews unlocked, particularly those which pertain to Sanctuary, because I've picked up a lot of new people lately, and if I friended you all back, I'd have to give up sleeping. ;) If you do add me and would like to be added back, drop me a PM so I know why you're here.

If I have friended you, it's probably for fic. Or because you have the good sense to like the things I do, and talk about them in a way I agree with. Or I thought your icons were pretty. I'm effusive when I comment. Please do not be scared.

I post fics here when I write them, but also on AO3 under the same name. On ff.net, I go by grav.

I make cakes for fun.

I review a lot of books: 2010, 2011, 2012.

Sometimes I like Deep Space Nine more than I like The Next Generation. When the feeling overwhelms me, I watch "Rascals" or "The Chain of Command" and lie down until it goes away. I like movies with well written double crosses, explosions and well choreographed fight scenes and/or mass dance sequences.

I'm a sucker for a good pun. I would like to be Julie Andrews when I grow up because her husband described her (at the Oscars) as "the beautiful English broad with the incomparable soprano and the promiscuous vocabulary" and that's just awesome.

I did NaNo in 2009 for the first time. It was fun and terrifying, and ever since I've had this weird compulsion to keep going.

. . . .

And going, and going!
